Arcturus AK-12 Steel-Bodied Modernized Airsoft AEG Rifle

"PROS: I have to say, after owning this for around 2-3 months now... it is a work horse. I have a maple leaf inner bucking (with a promo nub because the omega sits a bit high) and it shoots 300 feet easily. It never feels hot in the motor, the perun performs flawlessly, and haven't had a single issue other than when I did try a 4UAD bucking. It hates those, it will bunch up and misfeed.

CONS: The paint wears off. I put on some dragon skin to save it. It is also a HEAVY beast, so make sure you get a good sling. Also add some good thread locks to the outer barrel to stop the sway... because it is so heavy it will move a little bit. A slight shim and loctite/vibra is key.

OVERALL: This has been my reliable AEG. It fits the Titan Power AK sticks with ease. It shoots great, pretty snappy, and out performs all my other AEGs. If you are looking for a reliable AK, this is it.

Right out of the box, heck, even the box is nice and chick full of goodies, including a patch, magnet, etc..
The rifle itself is an impressively hefty unit. If you don't like weighty guns, get an MP5. She weighs close to the real steel deal. The trigger is quite crisp on its pull, feels like you are actually dropping a hammer with it. The fit and finish on this replica is better than some real AKs. Stock accuracy is pretty decent, but I personally put in a tightbore and a 4UAD bucking- went from "accurate" to laserbeam. The stick ROF on 11.1v is pretty good too. Not a hose by any means, but she'll keep their heads down while you move up.

My two gripes would be the battery space and sling points.
I wish it had a sling points at the rear of the receiver too, so I've had to make my own out of Paracord as I am not a fan of running a 2 point sling.
And the battery space requires some KY jelly just about, cause she's tight!
It'll fit a 7.4v 1000mah pack kinda-sorta.
But I've found that the Titan AK pack (evike pnv 113551 BAT-Titan-LIPO-2242) fits perfect! Just watch your wires!

Overall, just buy the dang thing, you won't regret it!

"FE Version

This replica is beautiful outside and in. No wobble anywhere except very minor in the stock (it's a buffer tube, it will wobble a little). Honestly, it's a very good price for what is offered, and since Arcturus isn't MAP protected as of writing, I got the replica for even cheaper, ~350$, and it outshines most everything else in its price bracket. I was shooting accurately at 250 feet with .30s with light wind.

Pros:
Externally built like a hammer

ETU is cheap and great at what it does for the most part
Quick change spring
Comes with accurate AK12 muzzle brake, easy to remove orange tip
Realistic weight (can be a con, AKs are heavy)
Very short trigger pull, especially for an AK. You can spam the trigger with an 11.1v

Cons:
Cramped battery space (not Arcturus' fault, it's how the AK12 is built) I use the Titan power 11.1 1000 mAh battery, fits with some fiddling
My replica came with the barrel a quarter inch to the right, had to pay for a tech to fix it because I do NOT trust myself to fix the gun myself
The ETU will sometimes shoot twice on semi, and the ETU does 3 round burst instead of automatic on option 2 for firing modes
