"Bought for my son as a gift. I've been playing w/ it for a couple weeks now, to make sure it works for Christmas morning. So far so good. I zero'd the iron sights and this thing is dead on. Very accurate semi and auto fire. Bought a 3S battery for it and using .25 BB's for now.

"For almost 2 years, i have never came across a starter gun that is that nice and great durability than this Arcturus CQB Sport. I got the Package deal from my local airsoft field and i am fairly impressed. I'm gonna make this review quick simple an idiot proof. Whatever specification says that's what is included. The main spring has a white painted top inside the box that you were able to switch out once you acquire the AEG. The stock is very accessible very sleek.

"great performance out of the box. very good starter gun

"Good gun all polymer body except for buffer tube, outer barrel, and sling mount are metal. but feels sturdy with a nice trigger feel with its "real trigger feel micro switch" or something that Arcturus puts in their guns and trigger response with a 11.1 20c li-on battery is very nice. The inline mosfet is also nice. Comes with the gun, 130/30 round midcap, black flash hider, cleaning rod, sticker sheet (very cool stickers) iron sights, and a coaster? I don't know if that's its purpose but its still a nice detail. I had issues with gen 1 bamf mags so I would avoid using those with this gun. Overall if you are looking for a very nice starter gun under 200 and you dont plan on opening it up I would strongly recommend!

"Great!
Out of the box I was impressed, for this price I was blown away all polymer no wobble or flex runs amazing no misfeeds. Wired to deans is a huge pro, also comes with an adapter for deans to tamiya which is very nice. Snappy trigger solid handguard and buffer tube internals are solid and it feels great. I would not recommend using a Lipo however since this does not have a mosfet, feeds good with PTS mags don’t know how well any other ones feed, 9/10 would recommend.

"pros: shoots straight, quiet, tons of battery space, 11.1v Lithium (not lipo) lasts all day.
cons: plastic handguard, motor died after 8 months of weekly fielding, $53 replacement. 11.1v lipo causes overspin.

"A good budget AEG rifle for beginners as it has decent build quality and it's pretty sturdy too. I'm not sure why evike recommends an 11.1v lipo as I started to have a problem with it burst firing on semi which was probably due to the gearbox overspinning from the high voltage, but I was able replace the gearbox and it works as good as new. So I'd recommend buying the 7.4v lipo so the gun can last longer. Overall it's still a decent rifle and with simple upgrades can perform like mid-high range AEG rifles.

"I was pointed toward this brand and this gun as a beginner gun by the folks over on Reddit, and man oh man am I glad I took their advice! I just got back into airsoft about a month or two ago, and was hooked as soon as I left the rental at the field. This gun shoots well within FPS limits for outdoor and indoor with .25g on an 11.1v LiPo. I bought a couple more Arcturus branded mid caps to go along with this kit, and it's a great starter repro!
Pros:
-Great price, especially considering the really nice internals that you get with this gun.
-Snappy electronic trigger
-MLOK and pic rails mean you can put pretty much anything on the rails you might need
-11.1v ready out of the box means you're getting plenty of power and range out of the box, even with a shorter barrel
-Polymer frame helps keep weight down which keeps you on the field longer
-With a higher maH battery, say 1500, you can easily get through a whole day without needing to change batteries out.
-If you don't plan on upgrading internals, this is probably one of the better M4 platforms you can get. Shims are great, piston and air nozzle are great, and bucking/internal barrel are great!
Cons:
-The mag that comes with the gun is a little loose within the magwell. The mags feed really well, and I haven't had any issues with misfiring or double feeding, but they seat a little loose.
-The bottom pic rail is just a slightly different height than some pic rail segments you can get online. This one is probably on me for not knowing that it may not be standardized throughout the industry, but it still meant that I had to take off the outer barrel to attach an angled foregrip because the heights of the aux pic rail segment and the built-in segment aren't the same.
-Sometimes, maybe every first shot after a little rest period, the semi-auto will instead shoot two or three bbs in succession, especially if you're shooting on semi very quickly. I'd recommend pacing your shots when using semi-auto.
-I wish that this model had a locking bolt and working bolt catches like Arcturus' more expensive M4 guns. The bolt carries the hop-up, and having a locking bolt would help to adjust it without holding the gun in an awkward position while you try to adjust the hop-up.
-Be careful about running full-auto for longer periods of time, especially in warmer weather/climates. For fun, I mag dumped one of the included mid-caps (130 rds) on full-auto to finish up the day. I'm not sure if it's because of the 11.1v battery, if it's because of the heat, or if it's because it was demanding of the motor, but the pistol grip that houses the motor was pretty warm to the touch, even after detaching the battery and waiting a few minutes. This is something to watch out for if you wear gloves on the field like I do, because it's an easy thing to overlook by accident, or even just be unaware of.
Even though the list of cons is more in-depth than the pros, I would still absolutely stick by Arcturus's cqb mk1 as my first gun back in the sport! It feels great, handles great, and is compact enough to corner well while still having enough barrel length to engage at decent distances! If you're looking for a beginner gun or even a backup/loaner for friends or family, I wouldn't look too much further than this brand and this gun especially.

"Pretty good beginner aeg, shoots pretty good as of what ive seen. My dustcover did seem to break, as isn't able to lock on to the reciever. Otherwise a pretty good gun.

"Sufficient range. Good gun. Has some handguard and barrel problems and what I mean is you can shift the handguard to the left and right easily and it will change the path of the bb. Overall good gun and good locking open mock bolt. Quick change spring gearbox and mosfet. The stock will just BARELY fit an 11.1 if it isn’t swollen a little. I recommend a good nunchuck 9.6 for this gun so it can fit perfectly.
This package comes with a deans to Tamiya adapter so you can run deans or tamiya. I’d say Arcturus did a good job on the internals but the externals lack some quality. You will know what I mean when you purchase this gun for yourself. It comes with a BLACK BIRD CAGE METAL FLASH HIDER aND an ORANGE ONE. The iron sights are like the magpul knock offs but the same thing essentially. I recommend .25 BBs to keep up with fps as well as range.
One weird thing is this gun feels like it has a lot of recoil from the gearbox so I hope it’s nothing major.
I recommend this if you want it as a collection or a starter gun or CQB but not for long range. Very lightweight.
