"I would definitley label this gun under "beginner friendly". However that's about it, I wouldn't recommend this to anybody looking for that next edge on the field rather for those who want a cool unique way to enter the hobby or to upgrade from their starter gun.
Pro:
The unique ability to swap magwells is cool. I run primarily AK's and M4's and being able to have a gun that fits both magazine types with a quick detach module is dope.
The trigger feels snappy, especially with an 11.1 battery.
Handgaurd is aluminum, feels nice but replace for a more sleeker and less bare bones design (personal pro).
Gun has a solid effective range and fps.
Cons:
Magazine wobble A LOT within the mag well, for both AK and M4. The rifle comes with an extended M4 mag well in the box and even that has a lot of wobble. I will add do not cheap out on magazines because cheap magazines with weak springs = no bbs out the barrel.
The stock is okay, however good luck trying to fit any batteries in there. It does come with a stock attachment for "storage" which is supposed to fit your bigger crane style batteries but I had no luck with that.
Pistol grip gets hot easily, which I feel has been a real downer on Arcturus lately as I hear some of their newer guns ate experiencing some issues.
All in all, solid gun for the price. $240 for this is a bargain for beginner or intermediates. Solid 7.5/10 from me.

"I love this gun a lot. It’s very lightweight and customizable, I have (currently) a flashlight and a hole scope on it but will add a tracer and a grip on.
The only reason I put 4 stars is because of the space for the battery compartment. The one I have “fits” as in needs to be shoved down the buffer tube which is bad for the battery.
I have a titan 7.6 LiPo on order right now and I’ll update in the community comments if it fits in case you want this gun and want to know which battery fits.
I haven’t messed with the pre cocking as I don’t know what it does and the folding stock as I have no idea how to do that. Overall a good gun but if I could have I would have gotten a better gun as in… every gun I have bought you always see a better option to buy after the fact you buy it.
I’d recommend just adding 50$ to your budget for a 300$ gun with many more benefits.
In all, very good gun for CQB beginners/intermediates

"Xcat versatile review
(This doesn't fully apply to the explorer and legend)
I hate to be the only review, This gun has it's pros and cons.
pros:
Awesome trigger response and feel
modular asf
split gearbox is very cool
accurate out of the box
did i say modular???
about 20 rps not too bad
cons:
tiny buffer tube ( modular asf add on for larger battery will not fit a 9.6 nunchuck battery)
mag well is wobbling and feels like it can break
charging handle is lowkey cheap, my valken asl echos is better quality.
might just be mine but the lower reciever pins to get the gun apart is always tight as hell.
all in all the Xcat versatile is solid and fun, I got to play a bunch of cqb and outdoors with my cousins versatile, Mine performed exactly the same and functioned the same (it is consistent).I would reccomend it at its $250 pricepoint if they just had a better charging handle and sturdier magwell, The internals are pretty damn good so I cant complain at all about those.
